paMuhacha is built on trust. Here is exactly what we ask, what the other person sees, and what stays with the aunt.

This notice is a starting document written in plain language, not legal advice. paMuhacha operates from Botswana under the Data Protection Act and honours the equivalent law in each market it serves - POPIA in South Africa, the Data Protection Act in Zimbabwe, and the Data Protection Act in Zambia.
Who holds your data
The data controller is paMuhacha, a platform of Cabanga Platforms. For any question about your data, or to reach the person responsible for data protection, write to info@pamuhacha.com.
What we collect
Your name and nickname, contact details, age, city, profession, three photos, your own words, your faith, your totem or clan, your personality test result, how you are with home and cooking, and - privately - the shape of your household. The totem and the personality test are both required: lineage is how the aunt sorts, and the test is how she understands your nature. We collect only what an aunt needs to introduce you well.
Why we hold it, and our legal basis
We use your information for one purpose: to let a trusted aunt understand you and introduce you toward marriage. The legal basis is your consent, given when you accept the charter and enter your intake, together with our legitimate interest in running an honest introduction service. You may withdraw consent at any time (see Your rights).
What another person sees
The ordinary things two people should simply know: nickname, profession, age, city, faith, totem, the build you chose, and how you are with cooking - and your own few words. Your real name and your photographs are never shown on the wall.
What the aunt holds privately
Income and assets are private. So is your personality test result: your aunt reads it so she can tell the two of you plainly how your natures work together, but it is not shown on the wall and it is not handed to the other person. The aunt sees these things so she can match honestly. The other person does not - not until the aunt judges the moment is right.
Your photographs
Your three pictures are treated differently from everything else you send, and deliberately so. They are reduced in size on your own device, sent only after you have entered your one-time code, and passed straight to the desk inbox as an attachment. They are not written to the sheet, they are not placed in cloud storage, and no copy is kept by the software that carries them. The desk forwards them to the aunt handling your introduction and deletes the message. If you would rather bring your pictures to the interview instead, say so when you write to us and we will take them out.
The one-time code
When you send your intake we email you a six-digit code. Nothing is stored until you enter it. It proves you are a real, contactable person - and a person on our side confirms you before you go any further.
Cookies and analytics
paMuhacha sets no advertising cookies and sells nothing about you. Your shortlist is kept on your own device, not on our servers. If analytics are switched on, they are configured with IP anonymisation and used only to understand which pages help people; the measurement identifier is left blank until that is decided.
Who we share it with
Your details are seen by the aunt assigned to you and by the small team that confirms real people. They are held in Google Workspace (Sheets and Gmail) for that purpose. We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to advertisers. We disclose information only where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your intake for as long as you are with paMuhacha. Ask to leave and it is taken down. An unconfirmed intake - one where the code was never entered - is discarded automatically.
Your rights
You may ask to see what we hold, correct it, restrict how it is used, or have it removed - and you may withdraw consent at any time. Ask the aunt, or write to info@pamuhacha.com, and your details are taken down. If you believe your data has been mishandled, you may complain to the data-protection authority in your country.
